Ike Path of Radiance

"A hero from another world, and the leader of the Greil Mercenaries. He wields his sword with total mastery, able to easily send foes flying with a single blow."

-Character description

Ike is one of the main characters of the Fire Emblem series, appearing in two titles as the main character, Path of Radiance and Radiant Dawn. In the story mode, his rival is Corrin.

Appearance Edit

  • Alt 1, "Path of Radiance"
  • Alt 2, "Awakened Warrior"
  • Alt 3, "Heroic Descendant"
  • DLC 1, "Blackened Armor"
  • Alternate colorization "B" of "Path of Radiance," with alternate weapon "Urvan".
  • Ike's EX Mode in his first alternate.

Ike's default attire, "Path of Radiance", is his appearance from Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance. This is also his outfit in Super Smash Bros. Brawl. This outfit has the following alternate colorization:

  • B: Recolors Ike's outfit to match his "Brave Hero" version from Fire Emblem Heroes. This recolor also emulates the appearance of Ike's father, Greil.

Ike's first alternate outfit, "Radiant Dawn", is Ike's attire from Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn. This was also his outfit in Fire Emblem Fates and Super Smash Bros. for Wii U and 3DS.

Ike's second alternate outfit, "Awakened Warrior", is his appearance as a DLC character in Fire Emblem Awakening.

Ike's third alternate outfit, "Heroic Descendant", changes him into Priam, a character from Fire Emblem Awakening who is highly inferred to be a descendant of Ike.

Ike's DLC outfit, "Blackened Armor", puts him into the armor of the Black Knight, a rival of his from Path of Radiance and Radiant Dawn. Ike still wields Ragnell in this outfit.

Ike's Manikin, the Apocryphal Vanguard, is a crystalline version of his default attire.

Battle Edit

Ike is described as a Valorous Vanguard. Most of Ike's moves can be charged to delay the attack and increase its attack power.

Quickdraw Ground/Aerial Ike charges up an attack before rapidly charging forward and slashing at his opponent. Charging increases the distance travelled. Can Wall Rush for extra damage.
Explosion Ground/Aerial Ike charges energy into Ragnell before releasing it as a close to mid-range explosion of blue fire. Charging increases the area the explosion covers.
Counter Ground/Aerial Ike quickly assumes a defensive stance. If he is hit, he stuns the opponent before making a mighty slash, sending the opponent flying. This attack cannot be charged, and the defensive stance lasts for about a second.

Trivia Edit

  • Ike's moveset is based upon his appearance in Super Smash Bros. and Cloud's moveset from Dissidia Final Fantasy NT.
  • Ike's hostility to Cloud is a reference to Super Smash Bros., where Cloud's introduction trailer featured him and Ike in a scenario similar to the final showdown between Cloud and Sephiroth in Final Fantasy VII.

Author's Notes Edit

Ike has been a favorite of mine since I first played Super Smash Bros. Brawl. So, I had to bring him over to Dissidia. I liked how Cloud played in NT, but didn't want to just throw the moveset onto a character I already liked the design of. I eventually came to realize that Ike would be a decent use for Cloud's NT moveset.
